PSV are the current champions of their domestic league and currently participate in the Champions League. They are one of three European Cup winning football clubs in Netherlands. With a prolific history they won the competition in 1988 and the UEFA Cup in 1978. Many great players have worn the PSV shirt including Ruud Gullit, Ronaldo & Van Nistelrooy. The club currently play at their newly built Philips Stadion and were founded in 1913.
